Here it is.. my first #standup comedy routine at Carolines on Broadway. You might want to put on #earmuffs .. I might let out a couple of sassy words..

I took life experiences that I’ve only shared with a handful of people and decided to showcase it on stage, #Michigan accent and all at the one and only @carolinesonbway in New York City.

In order to grow and evolve, I knew that this is where I needed to be. I needed a shift. I needed to push myself outside of my comfort zone. I needed to be vulnerable and share my journey to what brought me onto that stage and how those experiences were able to shape me into the woman that I am today. I’m so grateful that I was able to share this experience with my friends and.. complete strangers.

I remember right before I went on stage and Matt said to me, “Jen, just be you and tell your stories.” That was so profound and the best advice I could have at that moment because I was SUPER nervous. I was worried that my heels were going to fall through the stage and my fear-based mindset went into every possible horrendous scenario possible.. but I had to dig deep into those heels and just be Jen..

The audience got a sneak peek of what my friends see on the daily..southern accents, dating advice, my toolbelt, bad dates, tech-savvy, sass, all of it.. .
